avertising your business on streetlights? is it legal?

hi i was wondering if i was to put up flyers of my business on lampposts etc what would happen to me (if anything)

is it legal to do this, i see flyers on lamp posts in election time for the candadate so there must be a way to do it legit, anyone know anything about this

no its not....but people do it any way....

You can advertise on street furniture but need local authority consent to do it. I ran a short campaign on behalf of a client in Medway. There was some strict criteria for attaching the boards like having to use 2 cable ties and attach them using a automatic cable tie gun.
