Business Class car Insurance?

Can some one explain the different classes of car insurance....I have business class1 and my partner uses the car to drive to work - I think they are covered but would like clarification before I ring up insurer tomorrow and check.....

Would I need to change the class of insurance and if so to what?

This is only my understanding.

If your partner is a named driver then they should be covered for social, domestic and pleasure use, plus commuting to and from work, UNLESS the policy is specifically not for work (some second car ones are like that for cost reasons).

Class 1 is for named drivers to travel to and from "many places of work" e.g. sub-contracting to different companies.
(2 and 3 i get mixed up)
Class 2 (I think) is as above but carrying "goods" thats you may sell, like a traveling sales man???
Class 3 is as above but includes anybody employed by that business... but it could all be the other way around!?!??!?!
