Hi Everyone

My name is Steve Rowe and I own the red and black Martial Arts Studio on Chatham Hill. I teach Karate and Tai Chi there and across several countries in Europe. I'm Chairman of Shi Kon Martial Arts International and also the Martial Arts Standards Agency. I am also a writer for the Martial Arts magazines, have published a couple of books and am about to launch a new national magazine.

Glad I found this forum as I'm always trying to source local business for a variety of services.

Is anyone going to be at the Medway Mile on Sunday? We're doing a demo at the Black Lion Leisure centre at 2pm and 4pm

Hello Steve. How did the Medway Mile go?

It went very well for us. We only had around an eighth of the main hall (I was expecting more) and some of the other local martial arts clubs didn't turn up for their demonstrations, so we filled the gaps. We had around 25 kids and and 20 adults and they put on a great show, it was good for the parents of the kids training to see what the instructors and adults can do as well. All in all a good day. Because we were so busy, I didn't get to see what else was going on.

The Will Adams Festival is on in September and that should be a far bigger event. Unfortunately I'm teaching in Denmark then, but my club will be putting on a show.
