I'm rapidly out growing my home based office and will soon be looking for some suitable premises. I'm reluctant to spend out on serviced offices as to me they're a rip off. Instead i'm looking at doing an office share where I can piggy back and use some space in a businesses existing office. Does anyone here do this already? How does it work?

As a designer who also offers print it could be an advantage for a small company to have a designer in situ and one with excellent links in the print industry. I've put some ads on Ecademy but are there any other sites to advertise such an offer?

Unfortunately my town is rubbish when it comes to subsidised offices and serviced offices can run upto as much as £800 - £1000 when you include comms.

Any ideas appreciated.

Have you looked around for a local council supported business incubation unit?

There are a few places that offer discounted office rent over 3 rears to help develop new business.

Around £25 sq ft for serviced offices around here. I imagine that's the same throughout Kent.

Hi Tommy

There is a lot of great value offices around, our offices are reasonable to rent and include leating, light and business rates. Try to find a private landlord who has some office space avaliable. When I moved from home to an office it had a huge impact on my business.

Thanks all. I have decided to stay put for the next few months and see what happens with the impending financial doom.

A wise move me thinks.
